Love the waterfront location with the view of Rockland harbor and the Camden Hills!

Amazing. Everything is so well run. The staff is so helpful. Our yearly trip to Maine is so well planned .

We have stayed in many properties. They each are special. The best feature about Bar island is it remote location. It's about five miles from Millbridge. Lots of water frontage. The house is small but can take up to four so it is perfect for my wife and me.

We had minimal interaction with the team since everything went so smoothly, but the interactions I had were all positive and very helpful.

The location was wonderful and the garage apartment was great. It allowed for extended family to join us on a vacation easily. My favorite thing about it was the sunroom and deck. Great views and relaxing for morning and afternoon.

They were great as they are always are. Kim was especially helpful!

We have stayed at the Waterside Retreat seven or eight times and are always very pleased. There's nothing fancy about it. It's really very simple. But it works and works perfectly. It's immaculately clean, well furnished, with good central air conditioning and wonderful beds. We've stayed at much more lavish and expensive properties over the years, but we will continue to come back to Waterside when we return to Maine.

Superb, as always. We have already recommended OTWIM to two friends considering Maine vacations next summer.

Our Maine vacation this year could not have been better. Thanks so much. Everything about Deep Cove comes together for us, but nothing tops the spaciousness of the home in relation to its grand view.

Too many favorite features to list. Highlights were the pond itself, the quiet and peacefulness and general location of the property. The dock for early morning coffee or late afternoon snacks. The cottage itself was homelike and had everything needed for an extended stay.

Loved the entire property. We had a great two weeks. Very lovely home in a beautiful setting. Nice dock. Good location relative to the town of Camden. If I have to pick a highlight, I would say the open main level living area (kitchen, dining, living room, screened in porch).

For the second straight year, we had a great experience working with On the Water in Maine. Any questions I had about booking, check-in, or the general area were answered promptly and completely. We experienced no glitches whatsoever; the whole process could not have been easier.

The house and the grounds are beautiful and lovingly maintained. The lake is everything you'd want from a Maine lake: crystal clear water, woodsy surroundings, and of course a family of loons. Everything that was provided (a lot!) was in great condition...boats and tubes, lakeside seating, kitchen stuff, games, etc. I enjoyed feeding the birds during our stay, and watching and listening to them and the bees buzzing in the hydrangeas. The grounds overall provided a place for everything from corn hole to campfires to stargazing. It was everything we could possibly want.

Property was very well appointed., from kitchen to the shed that held the life preservers. House was immaculate and had enough bath towels for all. Cant say enough about the view coffee every morning and cocktails watching the sunset, even the wildlife cooperated. We saw an eagle and even had a skunk visit!

This year my experience with the OWIM team was lovely. I needed help getting CNN and received it on the weekend. Thanks!

The best feature of Lightkeeper is the view of the harbor--of course!

This was our fourth stay with On the Water (first in 2017), and as always, the team was efficient and helpful and very clear with directions and protocols. A pleasure to work with.

We stayed at Lazy Days cottage on Crawford Pond, and it was the best of the three cottages at which we've stayed: comfortable and clean, with wonderful amenities in the kitchen. Wonderful to take breakfast on the east facing deck. The grounds are beautifully kept with lovely wild flowers. The walk to the lake is a bit arduous, just as described, but a good workout for all of us (even 85-year-old me). The dock is very well maintained, and swimming is a delight.

Having stayed at Norton Pond Cottage previously, we were blown away by the complete renovation! It worked very well for us. This was the best rental property we have ever had - a like-new house, a great location, quiet neighbors.

Juniper Bank is a beautiful property. The layout of the house, location on the water, walking distance to the Owls Head General Store, and the views from the upstairs suite are incredible.

Our Song may be the perfect spot for us. Lermond pond is quiet, clear and beautiful. Our Song is set up to make the experience simple and easy for the renters. The owners are very thoughtful with what they have available for the renters: the dock, the floating docks, the chairs, and the layout of the property make it easy to sit back and enjoy nature. The inside of the house was also set up thoughtfully. The kitchen was well stocked for a cook and books and games were enjoyed on the rainy days. We enjoyed the remote location as well. This is a rental that we will want to return to.
